Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes are a folk band from Seattle that grew to prominence after their debut album Fleet Foxes. They are led by Robin Pecknold and members include Morgan Henderson (The Blood Brothers) and previously Josh Tillerman (Father John Misty). Though known for their warm sound and poetic lyrics, what best defines the Fleet Foxes aesthetic is the dynamic vocal harmonizations used in a very spacy fashion, reminiscent of earlier folk groups (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young) but also being able to trade intimacy for a grander more symphonic feel. Every one of their songs sounds like it could be in a Wes Anderson film. Sonically painting landscapes of nature.
